Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Get CHKD ("we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information through the getchkd.app application (the "App"). This does not apply to duding.ai, a separate product with its own privacy policy.

1. Information we collect

• Account info: name, email, and password (handled by our authentication provider, Supabase — we never see your plaintext password).
• Activity data: your daily check-in scores, streaks, and the five non-negotiables you track.
• Social features: friend connections, challenge history, and CHKD Coins balance if you use those features.
• Coach conversations: messages you send to the AI Coach feature are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate a response. Don't share anything in a coach conversation you wouldn't want processed by a third-party AI service.
• Discord: if you link/join our Discord server via an in-app invite, your Discord username and activity in that server are subject to Discord's own privacy policy, not this one.

2. How we use information

To operate the App (track your progress, show leaderboards and friend activity, run the AI Coach, send account and milestone emails), and to improve the product.

3. Who we share information with

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
• Resend — transactional email delivery (welcome, streak, and re-engagement emails).
• Anthropic — processes messages you send to the AI Coach feature.
• Discord — only if you choose to use the Discord invite feature.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. CHKD Coins and cash redemption

If the App offers CHKD Coins that can be earned, wagered in challenges, or redeemed for cash or other rewards, participation is voluntary and subject to the Terms of Service, which may restrict this feature by age, location, or availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Coins program at any time.

5. Children's privacy

Get CHKD is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us at the email below and we'll remove it.

6. Data retention and deletion

We retain your account and activity data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us below.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. Contact us to exercise these rights.

8. Security

We use encrypted connections and access controls to protect your data, but no system is completely secure.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; material changes will update the date above.
